In reply to ??????? Megadrive Girl???????. I remember when Alan Wake was supposed to be an open-world game with dynamic day and night cycle, and that gameplay was supposed to change during nighttime. This image back in 2006 was really something impressive.

I still remember the very first screenshot I saw of Alan Wake 1.
I can’t believe that this screenshot is SO old that I was even still buying gaming magazines back then. It’s from 2006! (but the first images came out in 2005)
Alan Wake came out in 2010. lol
I was so impressed by the lighting, details, etc.

In comparison, I feel absolutely nothing about this “concept art” of Alan Wake 2.
They sure knew how to tease us better back then!
