Alan Wake 2 rumored to be in development, to be published by Epic Games

Alan Wake 2 is a game that a lot of gamers have been requesting. And from the looks of it, Remedy and Epic Games are currently working on it. Or at least that’s what Jeff Grubb’s sources claim.

During his latest stream, Jeff Grubb claimed that Alan Wake 2 is the first game from Remedy that Epic Games will release. Unfortunately, there is no release window, so we don’t know when Alan Wake 2 will come out.

Now as always, we strongly suggest taking this with a grain of salt. While Jeff Grubb is a reliable source for leaks and rumors, he could be wrong. This could also be a really early April’s Fools joke, so keep that also in mind. So, until you hear it from Epic Games or Remedy, you must take this with a grain of salt.

From what we know so far, Remedy had worked on Alan Wake 2 years ago but it just “didn’t pan out”. Not only that, but Quantum Break was originally meant to be Alan Wake 2.

Let’s hope that this rumor will turn out to be true and that Alan Wake 2 is indeed under development. CONTROL had a whole DLC/expansion dedicated to it, so this sounds plausible. After all, both of them are set in the same universe.
