S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat MISERY Mod promises to take GSC’s little gem to the next level

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat MISERY is a mod that promises to overhaul GSC’s first-person shooter. This mod comes with custom textures, a weather system, new sound effects, new difficulty settings, improved AI, reskinned weapons, new items and interface, as well as new menus and loading screens. In other words, this mod is touching and tweaking almost every aspect of the game. STALKER Particle Paradise Build 2614 Released

A new and more stable version of the Particle Paradise 2.1.1.9 mod for GSC GameWorld’s STALKER has just been released. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Absolution – Live Action Short Film

STALKER fans, here is something special for all of you. Digital Rising released today a new, live action short film that is based on GSC GameWorld’s acclaimed first person shooter series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. In this film, a Ukrainian soldier on patrol goes AWOL after his squadmate loses his mind to a controller. He travels deeper into the zone in refuge from the military. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 New Details – New Engine, FOV, Higher PC Requirements

Remember that interview in which Sergey Grigorovich stated that GSC GameWorld was considering implementing the intrusive ‘always-online’ DRM? Well, that wasn’t the only major detail that was revealed. Grigorovich has also revealed more information about the game’s new engine, its FOV, the system requirements and the possibility of the game coming to current generation consoles. GSC GameWorld responds to STALKER 2’s always-online DRM

All hell’s broke loose and all STALKER fans were really disappointed when they found out that STALKER 2 would probably require a permanent internet connection in order to be played. As you may have guessed, GSC GameWorld had to act. Fast. And according to the game’s Twitter account, this particular DRM method was only mentioned as a possibility, not a choice. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will require a permanent internet connection

In a recent interview, Sergey Grigorovich revealed something that passed under the radar of all PC gamers. The head of GSC Game World stated that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will require a permanent internet connection when he was asked about the game’s copy protection. Although STALKER 2 is still pretty early in development, Sergey stated that software piracy is an issue for them and they try to fight it, but within reason. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Details – PS3 Port Is Possible

Following today’s fan-made film, here are some juicy new information about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. During a Russian interview, GSC GameWorld’s Sergey Gregorovich revealed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will actually be a movie tie-in and that the movie’s budget is $3 million USD. He also revealed that 60 people work on the game and the game will use like 50% of the previous storylines. Sergey also hinted to a possible PS3 port, although nothing is certain right now.
