Battlefield 3 – Alpha Screenshots Leaked

There are already some lucky guys out there that are playing Battlefield 3’s alpha version. Oh yeah, you read that right. With the launch of Battlelog, players can take a taste of the DICE’s next military game and some alpha screenshots have already been leaked. We should note that these screenshots do not represent the final game and the user that took them had issues with his drivers – thus these are said to be screenies with the lowest settings. Tyrannosaurus rushes into battle in this custom Battlefield 3 Theme

Christina Coffin, DICE’s Frostbite Engine Coder has just released a new, custom theme for Battlefield 3. Christina was having fun with photoshop and this theme is the result of that. It looks great and we’d definitely buy for something like that. No seriously, just imagine a Tyrannosaurus rushing towards a tank. It’d be an unforgettable experience, don’t you agree? Battlefield 3 – No modding tools due to Frostbite 2’s complexity or not?

During his interview with the German magazine Gamestar, DICE’s Executive Patrick Söderlund revealed that the company does not plan right now to make any modding tools. Battlefield 3 PS3 Gameplay

We’ve always wondered how Battlefield 3 would look to consoles. Well here is the answer. The console version was showcased during the ‘Late Night’ show with Jimmy Fallon. There are some LOD issues here and there but overall the game looks good and runs great. It’s obviously not as good as the PC version, but still.
