Skull & Bones -8

Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones has been delayed until March 2023

Ubisoft has just announced that Skull and Bones has been delayed, and will now release on March 9th, 2023. According to the press release, the PC version will be available via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect.

Ubisoft claims that this extra time will allow its development team to further polish the game.

As the press release reads:

“While the game development is finished at this stage, the extra time will be used to further polish and balance the experience using players’ feedback from our technical tests and Insider Program which happened over the past two weeks. This is the right decision both for our players and for the long-term success of the game as March 9, 2023 provides for a suitable release window for this very unique new brand.”

In Skull and Bones, players will sail to the furthest reaches of the Indian Ocean. From the coasts of Africa to the East Indies, players will discover distinct regions each with their own unique ecosystems. Players will learn to use the wind to their advantage by trimming their sails to increase their speed as they try to survive treacherous waters, dangerous rogue waves, and deadly wildlife.

As we’ve already reported, the PC version will support RTGI, as well as NVIDIA’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR.
