In reply to Vixking. ? I don tthink people paying over 2k for a video card baught it just to play Portal in RT. Portal in RT is definitely a bonus though, and so will all the other old games that will use RTX Remix.

Nvidia Remix don’t support standard DX9 – only “DX9 layer for fixed function hardware”. This is backward compatibility layer for DX 8.1 hardware from 90s when first version of DX9 was created. That old hardware don’t support programmable shaders required by standard DX9

Nvidia Remix can’t support games that use programmable shaders. This is why they can’t release Portal 2 RTX because that game don’t have DX 8.1 version

In reply to GT PC Gaming. Playing with DLSS 2 on Quality will never get you a decent framerate. You need at least Performance/Ultra Performance mode to get good frame rates with high settings on a 3070 Ti.
