I feel the same way as the reviewer. I’ve been playing and there’s almost NO plot to speak of. For the first 8 hours it’s like they don’t even bother. It really is just “WE GOTTA GO” and that’s the whole plot (so far)

“pretty short and can be completed in 9 to 12 hours or less.”…In my day and age this hours are more than enough for me.But from what i have seen an read the combat is indeed repetitive and it’s get boring pretty quick.This and the lack of good story put me off.Shame, because i really wanted to be good.

considering I got the game for free because I just recently purchased a Radeon RX GPU, it’s not a bad game. I would not have bought this game at release but down the road when the price dropped drastically. This review is pretty spot on. It’s basically Dead Space rehashed without the mining tools as weapons and mostly melee oriented.

This and the fact that the b**tards go Denuvo, makes me say a Double F*k you to that fat b**tard Glen and co!

Will never pay for a Denuvo game. Wait for the F*ker to be cracked or if ppl cant wait – buy it for a dollar or two, via AntiDenuvo or such!

As much as I don’t want to defend these developers, I want to clarify
one thing. There is news that they have withheld death animations and
are selling them separately in the season pass. There are plenty of
posts on the Steam forums that bring this up as well. This is not true.
These animations are connected to two new modes that will have new
enemies and very likely new traps (hence, new ways to die). None of this
content has even been made yet. This information can easily be found on
the Steam store page under the Season Pass, and the developer has said
as much.

I’m looking forward to the next game from this team. I hear you only have one leg because they haven’t made the other yet, but the 2nd will be available in a future DLC.

Let’s face it, the title is overpriced and lacking real content. It’s been a cash grab to get it out for the holidays and infront of the Dead Space remake.

Glad I dodged this bullet.
