The experience changes from game to game, that’s why I have installed DLSS Swapper. A lot of times is a matter of trying different versions until you got one that have less artifacts/ghosting in that particular game.

Then you have no idea about the RT in this game. It is painstakingly demanding. Moreover, John is still using the old (now lame) i9 9900K. So, these results are not very accurate.

No, it’s actually AAA game companies. Developers don’t get enough time to finish the games in time. That is why AAA games are buggy mess. It’s much easier and time efficient to put in DLSS, they aren’t gonna code, optimise for specific cards on such tight deadlines.

With RT off my 3070ti can run it on max at 4k60. The RT is insanely demanding (like most games).

Yeah I think no matter what you see quality wise with these technologies it’s obvious devs are using them as a crutch. Imagine releasing games I’m a world without DLSS where $1k+ GPUs couldn’t do native res and 60fps. It would be a scandal.

“Minimal” is subjective. I’d also argue it depends on the game. Witcher 3 “remaster” for example looks much, much softer with quality DLSS compared to native 4k. Cyberpunk though I found the difference less obvious.

Very common I see as well, and not unusual to anyone since games never gonna be developed 100% bug free all the time , even simple ones i see are easier for devs to do but for bigger titles , its different story and majority of games that ever gonna map out right for the first time when fps drop, there is overdrawn texture, sector, lines over same spot that cause CPU usage goes up for GPU to work harder on that section has too many errors on map part is badly drawn…it happens to every game…unlike consoles games…it’s very sensitive to for bugs cause it doesn’t have OS debugging tools built in to produce logs like normally in pc computers it use CPU to stub the errors it produces by skipping every line code that resulted more scheduler usage…even amd owned titles have issues with their gpu’s…nothing wrong the hardware on eitherside…its software have bottleneck itself by developer trying to over correct the problem in the map areas by patching up the map so it won’t crash the game from missing section or texture they miss would cause map not run and trust me, the devs do get frustrated if i was there shoe making maps for every level …you always end up missing something what cause map not to compile into test run by repeating and repeating checking every part of the map for any holes to be cover up by adding more more chunk parts for just to get the map to run at least …if it does…then it work but huge sacrifice for CPU usage of seeing stubs errors in that section that is complaining about duplicate vertex and textures , what great about PC libraries it just run through vs consoles , it won’t even allow to run through it due to memory subsystem is very restrictive for every code
