YouTube’s ‘Tahiday’ has shared a video, showcasing the first 16 minutes from The Last of Us Part 1 Remake. This video shows the entire prologue sequence, so be sure to avoid it in case you want to experience it yourselves. Needless to say that the prologue also has some spoilers (for those that haven’t played the original game).

The Last of Us Part I is described as a total overhaul of the original experience. The game will incorporate modernized gameplay, improved controls and expanded accessibility options. Additionally, it will have improved effects and enhanced exploration and combat.

As we’ve already reported, Naughty Dog has replaced the 3D models of both Joel and Ellie. These new models are more in line with those found in The Last of Us Part II. The environments also look richer, and its lighting system has also seen some upgrades.

The Last of Us Part I will release on PS5 on September 2nd. Naughty Dog has stated that the game will release on PC soon after its PS5 release.
