The Last of Us Part I

The Last of Us – Remake vs Original Comparison Screenshots & Video

Last week, a number of screenshots leaked online for The Last of Us Part 1 Remake. And then, after a couple of days, Sony released an official gameplay trailer for this upcoming game. So, below you can find some comparisons between the original PS3 version and this upcoming PC/PS5 version.

The Last of Us Part I is described as a total overhaul of the original experience. The game will incorporate modernized gameplay, improved controls and expanded accessibility options. Additionally, it will have improved effects and enhanced exploration and combat.

As we’ve already reported, Naughty Dog has replaced the 3D models of both Joel and Ellie. These new models are more in line with those found in The Last of Us Part II. The environments also look richer, and its lighting system has also seen some upgrades.

Overall, and while there isn’t a tremendous graphical jump, The Last of Us Part 1 Remake looks great. Let’s also not forget that the original version never came to the PC, so this is the first time that PC gamers will be able to enjoy it.

There is currently no ETA on when the game will release on PC.

Enjoy!
