Following the removal of Denuvo from Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Bandai Namco has also removed this controversial anti-tamper tech from Tekken 7. Therefore, PC fighting fans can now purchase this PC fighting game, and enjoy a better overall experience.

Now what’s interesting here is that a while back, Katsuhiro Harada himself claimed that Denuvo was causing framerate/performance issues in Tekken 7. As such, its removal is a great thing for all PC fighting fans.

Tekken 7 isn’t the only game in which Denuvo affected (one way or another) its performance. As we’ve shown, Shadow of the Tomb Raider runs faster now that Denuvo has been removed.

Additionally, Square Enix and Crytek have also removed Denuvo from NieR Replicant Remaster & Crysis Remastered. 2K Games has also removed Denuvo from Mafia: Definitive Edition. So yeah, let’s hope that more developers and publishers will jump on the “Denuvo-free” bandwagon.

For what it’s worth, I haven’t experienced any performance or stuttering issues with Tekken 7. This of course doesn’t mean that other players have not experienced them. A couple of years ago, I was really into this fighting game and I was constantly playing online matches. So yeah, I’m really looking forward to the next part of the series.
