Seems another AAA game f*ked up . Only indie games are good now days , all AAA titles are extremely bad made , full of prob and cost a bunch of money while indie games are often great , fun and perfectly playable and less expensive .

Nvidia was a tad bit smarter with their explanation btw. I couldn’t even believe what I was reading. Why would you lineup your memory into 3.5 +0.5 GB combination to “optimally” configure its functioning? I mean how do I know that low priority 512MB memory section isn’t used by the background process and whenever a game starts calling the address onto that, it says “ah $hit. now how can I give it to the game?” If I am correct, Nvidia never answered to this $hit properly yet I am still using its products. Irony my life!!!

It is not about selling BUT about doing more careful, sophisticated approach of writing codes. and, partly this is because of the genius modding community. When it comes to PC, some devs deliberately write bugged out codes leaving out for the modders to iron out post release (the list is so long that a Google search is better option rather than mentioning some honorables. okay, I am giving you one. Batman Arkham Knight). I think more refunding & halting to buy can significantly alleviate this situation BUT won’t completely diminish it. Sometimes I think nothing will change because the devs even know themselves that their paygrades just don’t even work to do proper justifications as what we PC gamers expect & like in the first place.

The issue here is the DX12 rendering more than anything else. Just look how much worse is RE2 running in DX12, despite the fact that Denuvo is gone.

The answer is simple. Lazy a$$ garbage devs who just run & test console builds. The first big upset was FFVII:Remake Intergrade. Oh man, that $hit even shipped with source code (if I am not mistaken) & I forgave them because they are Square Enix. But then again, even Iron Galaxy Studios hobbyists have included shader pre-compilation in Uncharted 4 & TLL. So, this so called Striking Distance or, whatever $hit that is, will have no escape from the excuse that “Oh no. We have noticed this and are working on it”. Every Gears of War game (except the Original Remaster on UE3 D3D12 build) ran like butter & soap. Then there is Days Gone, Assetto Corsa: Competizione (FFS, this is even a racing sim that runs insane), Scorn with ZERO issues.

01. Denuvo messing things up
02. Capcom DRM messing things up
03. Denuvo and Capcom DRM messing things up
04. Denuvo messing the rendering pipeline of RE engine
05. Capcom DRM messing the rendering pipeline of RE engine
06. Denuvo and Capcom DRM messing the rendering pipeline of RE engine
07. The rendering pipeline iteself has streaming issues regardless of Denuvo/Capcom DRM

Even if 07 is true, anyone can question whether the streaming system was tweaked to facilitate the DRM layer functioning. In that regard, Denuvo &(or,) Capcom DRM are(is) culprit(s). This applies to 02 as well to not publicly bash & uphold their so called profit milking catalyst Denuvo & Co. So, I really think it is Capcom’s PR stunt. I will be keeping a close eye on their next gen RE update to verify this for one more time (unfortunately though, RE4 Remake will be using a similar iteration of RE engine).

You think Denuvo still present in the game is a PR statement from Capcom?

You better need some sanity check. None is lying here except your love for Denuvo. What do you think a dev & publisher team like Capcom would openly criticize Denuvo for the sake of ultimate truth? Logics please.

I had a friend that had the gpu she upgraded in 2020 to 5700 XT. Though 970 was actually a very good GPU, so imagine if it wasn’t gimped. Well story is this friend loves gaming not than any other, she’s always been a hardcore PC gamer. Saved her pennies working at Walmart, I built her a PC & she was finally able to afford a GPU and then to find out she got gypd. Those are the stories of proof that fuels the hate of a company like Nvidia. Yes, it’s anecdotal but I think those should count for something. Thinking you are getting one thing that turns into a Next a thing. Remember how deep this went, Nvidia lied down to the bios reading on the chip. They broke so many laws with the 970.

I wholeheartedly disagree with those lies from Capcom PR stunt.
