It’s still based on Dead Space. I don’t have particularly high hopes for it, but good or bad, it’ll surely be more Dead Space than Cal Pro is. That’s my idea buddy.

You’ve no idea buddy. That game isn’t dead space anymore.

Dead Space Remastered will be out next month. They probably did not want to risk going up against that juggernaut… an attempt to beat them to the punch.

Hopefully that game is better received upon release.

Right… but the games that we are rosily remembering were fully fleshed out gaming experiences that needed to be patched. This game isn’t complete IMO.

Dead Space and Glen Schofield is what put this game on people’s radars. Guess he wasn’t the only one working back at Visceral.

I hadn’t heard anything about Cal Pro and then I wanted it… still do but it’s seems to be more than the poor performance that is lacking. It doesn’t have the soul of Dead Space… hopefully Dead Space remastered does. Super ironic. ????

It’s sponsored by AMD, as was RE Village and FC6 both of which have such issues with reduced resolution / missing effects. It’s no surprise this does also. You only need to compare hardware performance to see why https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/msi-geforce-rtx-4080-gaming-x-trio-review,24.html

I was just using shadow of war as an example, despite how optimized it is. It’s basically condition that modern games, especially AAA TITLES cannot avoid. But while we are on the subject, Man o’man shadow of war was not a good game. First time I played it with a very rose lens, apparently. But the game controls like poop. But besides that, they had that many patches because they had to patch out the hurrendous microtransactions. It’s a game that made history in the Gass department.

But Middle Earth: Shadows of War is solid since day-1 I suppose. I haven’t played it but my confidence lies in there as it is developed by Monolith Studios. If any studio in planet earth remains to be a heavyweight PC developer besides Valve, then it is Monolith. I think those were smaller patches for Shadows of War. But we have to check.

Those geniuses who claim they faced NO shader compilation stutters are paid reviewers & stuffs from the developer & publisher teams themselves. PERIOD.

I start to believe that all QA happens on console versions and the PC versions are an afterthough.
