The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update

Here are the most popular mods that will be compatible with The Witcher 3 Next-Gen

CD Projekt RED has listed the most popular mods for The Witcher 3 that will be compatible with its free Next-Gen Update. In addition, the team revealed that it will soon release new modding tools so that modders can fix their mods.

As CDPR stated:

“Alongside the game update we are gonna release a new version of the Witcher 3 command line tools for modders (Modkit) adapted for the updated game with many bug fixes included.

Bence’s team will be releasing an updated version of TW3 WolvenKit soon after the update’s release (also when possible, considering their holiday season plans).”

According to the list, All Quest Objectives On Map, High Quality Faces, TW3 Gameplay Tweaks and Super Turbo lighting Mod will be compatible. On the other hand, Friendly HUD, God Mode, Ultra Gore 2 – A Dismemberment Mod, Beautiful Grass Mod V3 and the Autoloot Mod won’t be compatible with it.

As we’ve already reported, CDPR has also included several popular mods in the Next-Gen Update. Since the HD Rework Project is not on the list, we can safely assume that it’s already included in the update.

The Witcher 3 Next-Gen will release on December 14th and will be available for free to all owners of the base game. The Update will bring Ray Tracing Global Illumination, Reflections, Ambient Occlusion and Shadows on PC. Furthermore, the game will support both AMD FSR 2 and NVIDIA DLSS 3.
