Mortal Kombat Kollection Online has been rated by PEGI, will feature upgraded graphics

In December 2018, we informed you about the cancellation of an official HD Remaster Collection of the first three Mortal Kombat games. The team behind the fan-made Mortal Kombat HD: Kommunity project was working on it, however, Warner Bros put a stop to it. Then, in April 2019, some leaked screenshots from Mortal Kombat Kollection surfaced online. And recently, PEGI rated this new Mortal Kombat project.

Titled Mortal Kombat Kollection Online, this new MK project promises to feature the classic 2D fighting games. Moreover, and according to its description, Mortal Kombat Kollection Online will feature upgraded art and graphics.

As the game’s description reads:

“Mortal Kombat Kollection Online is the original Mortal Kombat trilogy that MK fans always wanted. Upgraded art, gameplay, and online features provide an incredible experience that revive the “klassics”.”

This “kollection” has a 18 PEGI rating and was supposedly coming out yesterday. Now as we all know, Warner Bros did not release any new Mortal Kombat game on January 21st. As such, and while this PEGI rating is legit, there is no indication of when the game will come out.

Before closing, you can go ahead and download the cancelled versions of Mortal Kombat HD Remix from here. You can also find some free Mortal Kombat HD MUGEN games here.
