ICO and Shadow of Colossus Collection Screenshots

Sony released 21 screenshots of the ICO and Shadow of Colossus Collection. As we have suspected, these remastered version are basically almost the same with the ones of PS2. The main difference is that they support 3D stereoscopic and they run at 1080p. However, we’d expect to see new and more detailed textures. Sadly though, it seems that the team didn’t bother at all to replace the original textures. The simply passed the original textures through some sharpen filters. Milmo launches today on the PC

Aeria Games announced today the launch of their latest MMO game, Milmo, a 3D action adventure browser MMO that is being based on the Unity Engine. As with most Aeria Games’ titles, Milmo is free-to-play and features adventure and RPG elements. BasketDudes – FreeToPlay basketball game detailed

Bitoon Games revealed today via a press release, BasketDudes’ details and features. BasketDudes is a free-to-play 3D action sports MMORPG basketball game that is developed by Bitoon Games’ internal team. The game is currently in closed beta phase and will be made available to all PC and Mac gamers on Q2 2011. We have to admit that this is a refreshing and original MMO and given the fact that it is free-to-play, you should definitely give it a shot. Carrier Command: Gaea Mission – E3 Trailer

Bohemia Interactive, the talented gaming studio behind the awarded tactical sim series, ArmA, released the E3 trailer for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Gaea Mission is basically a remake of the classic game that was released in the 80’s, Carrier Command. It will feature 1st and 3rd person action, along with strategic elements, 33 unique islands, free roam strategy mode and unit management. Be sure to check out its trailer after the jump. Wargame: European Escalation – E3 Trailer

Focus Home Interactive released the E3 trailer of their latest real-time strategy game, Wargame: European Escalation. In case you didn’t know, the game is being developed by the same team that was behind Ubisoft’s R.U.S.E. This first footage reminded us of World In Conflict, which is a good thing. There is an aggresive LOD but hopefully developers will polish it and provide us with a number of LOD options. Wargame: European Escalation is slated for a Q1 2012 release on the PC. Duke Nukem Forever PC Performance Analysis

Most of you pretty much know what happened with Duke Nukem Forever so we won’t discuss extensively its development cycle. For those that don’t, here is how the story goes more or less. 3D Realms developed the PC version with an enhanced Unreal engine and was shut down, about two years ago. After its closure, Triptych Games decided to continue the game’s development and due to their hard work, the PC version of DNF was almost finished. Gearbox Software then stepped in and acquired the game’s rights. With Piranha Games’ help, the company polished, ported the PC version to consoles and added the multiplayer mode.
