Dead Island PC Developer Build released on Steam instead of the Final version

Okay guys, this is a major screw up. Although PC gamers all over the world have been looking forward to the release of Dead Island, it looks like Techland and Deep Silver have made a major mistake with the game’s Steam version. If you had tried the Steam version of Dead Island, you would most probably have encountered a number of bugs and issues. For example, players could no-clip by pressing a certain key. X Rebirth pushed back to 2012; New Details Unveiled

Deep Silver and Egosoft presented their upcoming space game in GamesCom and we have some interesting news for you. But first, the bad news; X Rebirth is pushed back to 2012. Although the game had previously a Q4 2011 release, it’s now confirmed that it will come out next year on the PC so space fans will have to wait a little bit longer. Risen 2: Dark Waters – Three New Screenshots + Off Camera Gameplay Footage

Risen and Gothic fans, here are three new screenshots of the highly anticipated RPG, Risen 2: Dark Waters. Alongside these screenshots we also have a brand new off camera gameplay footage from GamesCom. Funnily, the game looks similar to Arcania 4 but hopefully it won’t share any other similarities. Risen 2: Dark Waters is developed by the talented Piranha Bytes and is slated for release later this year on PC, X360 and PS3. The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav announced; features gorgeous 2D graphics

Deep Silver and Daedalic Entertainment announced their latest adventure game that will be based on the popular fantasy world of The Dark Eye. In The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, players get to experience a brand new point & click adventure set in Aventuria, from the makers of The Whispered World. Alongside its announcement, Deep Silver released the game’s first screenshots that sport the best 2D graphics we’ve ever seen and can be viewed after the jump. Risen 2: Dark Waters – GamesCom Teaser Trailer

Piranha Bytes and Deep Silver released a teaser trailer for their upcoming RPG, Risen 2: Dark Waters. Contrary to other teaser trailers though, this one sports some in-game footage. In fact, it’s the first in-game footage of Risen 2 so make sure to check it out. Oh… and is that Antony Hopkins as the narrator? Dead Island – Co-op Trailer Released

Deep Silver released a new co-op trailer for their upcoming zombie game, Dead Island. The game looks definitely great, although it’s pretty obvious it is influenced by both Far Cry and Left 4 Dead. This combination could work out and with a co-op mode, it might appeal to a broader crowd. Dead Island will hit stores in September so be sure check out this new co-op trailer after the jump. Risen 2: Dark Waters To Use Steamworks as its Protection System

Deep Silver announced yesterday at Risen 2’s forum that this much anticipated RPG will actually use Steamworks as its protection system. Deep Silver decided to choose Valve’s DRM was because Steam offers an automated update system which allows all customers to  play the latest version of Risen 2 since all patches will be delivered  automatically to their PC. Pre-Purchase Dead Island from Steam Now and receive a weapon and the first DLC for Free

Valve has just announced that Dead Island is available for pre-order on Steam right now. Those who pre-purchase it from their distribution service will also receive the “The Ripper” weapon and the Bloodbath Arena downloadable content pack for free. According to Valve, the Bloodbath Arena DLC will be released one month after the game’s launch. Dead Island – E3 2011 Co-Op Screenshots

Deep Silver released 9 new screenshots for their open world zombie FPS, Dead Island. These new screenshots showcase the game’s co-op mode and look quite interesting.
