Chivalry 2 PC Review

Posted on: 27 Jul 2021

Chivalry 2 came out last month on PC and Torn Banner Studios has expanded every aspect of the original game, making it feel much less like an indie title this time around. Additionally, the team has improved the quality of both its visuals and audio, along with its overall scope.

Red Solstice 2: Survivors – PC Review

Posted on: 21 Jun 2021

I only played the original Red Solstice for around 3 hours (just to get an idea of what to expect in the sequel). Red Solstice 2 adds some new systems and depth to the game, and brings a significant visual overhaul. And, after having had a chance to play it for nearly 30 hours, these … Continue reading Red Solstice 2: Survivors – PC Review

Biomutant PC Review

Posted on: 11 Jun 2021

After numerous delays, Biomutant, which has been developed by the indie studio Experiment 101, was finally released on May 25th. There was a lot of hype surrounding the release of this open-world, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG. However, despite being enjoyable at times, Biomutant is unfortunately plagued by a number of issues.

Evil Genius 2 PC Review

Posted on: 31 Mar 2021

I have fond memories of the original Evil Genius that released back in 2004, so it’s no surprise that I was quite excited when I found out that there was a sequel in the works. So, the big question now is whether this sequel is a worthy successor to the original game. Therefore, here are … Continue reading Evil Genius 2 PC Review

Hitman 3 PC Review

Posted on: 10 Feb 2021

Hitman 3 brings IO Interactive’s “World of Assassination” trilogy (which started with Hitman 2016 and was followed up by Hitman 2) to a close. And, despite some minor issues, it’s a pretty good game.

Star Wars Squadrons PC Review

Posted on: 14 Oct 2020

Let me start this review by saying that I was a big fan of the original X-Wing, Tie Fighter and X-Wing vs Tie Fighter games. I absolutely loved them. So the news of – dare I say – a “spiritual successor” had me excited. I haven’t been interested in an EA published title for quite … Continue reading Star Wars Squadrons PC Review

The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos PC Review

Posted on: 30 Sep 2020

The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk is a turn-based tactical fantasy RPG developed by Artefacts Studio. The game parodies a lot of things, including gaming and tabletop DnD. While some of the humor doesn’t quite land where it should (possibly due it originally being French and translated to English), and can feel juvenile at times, there are … Continue reading The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos PC Review

Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning PC Review

Posted on: 11 Sep 2020

The original Kingdoms of Amalur was released back in 2012, and while it certainly wasn’t perfect, it was an enjoyable experience that left me with some fond memories. So, naturally, when they announced the Re-Reckoning Edition, I was pretty excited to get my hands on it and see what had been changed or improved since … Continue reading Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning PC Review

Death Stranding PC Review

Posted on: 10 Aug 2020

Death Stranding is a game that has divided many players. It’s certainly not a run of the mill, cookie cutter experience, something we’ve come to expect  from many of the bigger budget games these days. As a result Kojima Productions is treading in unknown territory with their ambitious project and that is a refreshing change.
