After six whole months, Bandai Namco restores Dark Souls 3’s PC online functionalities

In February 2022, Bandai Namco took down the online servers for all of its Dark Souls games. And today, after six whole months, FromSoftware has finally restored the PC online functionalities of Dark Souls 3.

FromSoftware has also stated that it’s working to restore the online features for all of the other Dark Souls games, and will issue an update once they are back in service. For now, though, PC gamers can finally enjoy Dark Souls 3 online.

Lastly, it’s interesting noting that these security issues did not affect FromSoftware’s latest game, Elden Ring.
