AMD Radeon RX7900XTX can be up to 40fps faster than the NVIDIA RTX4090 in Hogwarts Legacy at CPU-bound scenes

Hogwarts Legacy will officially release tomorrow and yesterday, NVIDIA released a new driver for its graphics. The NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready 528.49 WHQL adds a game profile for this new game. However, it appears that NVIDIA has a lot of work to do as AMD’s latest GPU, the Radeon RX7900XTX, can be up to 40fps faster than it at 1080p/Ultra Settings/No RT. AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX gaming benchmarks; faster than the NVIDIA RTX4080 in rasterized games, slower in Ray Tracing games

AMD has lifted the review embargo for the AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX, and below you can find some third-party gaming benchmarks for it. From what we can see, the new AMD GPU is faster than the NVIDIA RTX4080 in rasterized games. However, in Ray Tracing games, the NVIDIA counterpart is noticeably faster. NVIDIA DLSS 2 is noticeably better than AMD FSR 2.1 in Lost Judgment

The modder behind the DLSS Mod for Judgment and Lost Judgment has released a new version that is compatible with AMD FSR 2.1. As such, we’ve decided to compare these two upscaling techniques in this game and although DLSS 2 is not officially supported by the game, it looks noticeably better than FSR 2.1.
