First Hogwarts Legacy PC Update released, full patch notes revealed

Avalanche has released the first PC Update for its latest Harry Potter game, Hogwarts Legacy. According to the release notes, the February 14th Update brings a number of PC-specific tweaks and improvements. As such, we’ve decided to test this patch and see whether these claims were valid. Hogwarts Legacy is a PC graphical showcase, one of the best-looking games

Since the release of its Deluxe Edition, a lot of PC gamers are having difficulties running Hogwarts Legacy. And, to a degree, we can understand them. As we’ve reported, the game is incredibly CPU-bound.  The game also has traversal stutters. However, almost no one talks about its impressive graphics, and that’s a bummer. Warner Bros has provided us with a review code for Hogwarts Legacy. Thus, and since Warner Bros has not showcased the game’s PC version, we’ve decided to share the ten first minutes from it. Hogwarts Legacy will feature Ray Tracing Shadows, Reflections & Ambient Occlusion

Warner Bros has confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will feature Ray Tracing Shadows, Reflections and Ambient Occlusion. As such, we expect this game to look great on PC, although it’s a shame that there is no support for ray-traced global illumination.
